I started my business  Aromaflex in 2001 in Johannesburg, offering Aromatherapy and Reflexology. Our family then moved down to the picturesque town of Plettenberg Bay in 2006. I have always been very involved in sports, focusing on running events. As my name became more known, I became more involved in massaging at sporting events.

My very first event was the Cape Pioneer Trek mountain bike race, working for a practice of Physiotherapists. I would say that this was when my passion for working at events started.

First I needed to get a team of therapists together who were just as passionate about sports as I was.

Thank goodness in this area everyone is either running, cycling, swimming or paddling. I was fortunate enough to work with Magnetic South and their Grail of Trail, the infamous Otter Trail Run. I have been privileged enough to have worked with them from their very first event. I have also managed to get Arnicamill on board, who supply us with their fantastic range of massage oils.

One of the other races that my team is involved in is the Tsitsikamma Ultra Trail Run 60km. It is a relatively new race on the calendar, with their second race being run a couple of weeks ago . We have been involved with Karoo to Coast MTB race as well, where we were sponsored and worked under the banner of TruCape.

We are involved in the Club 100 invitational PE to Cape Town tours and a couple of corporate events throughout the year .

My team that I rely on are all involved in their own practices, either as Therapists or Physiotherapists. They are a passionate group, all with a love for sport, all knowledgeable in their own rights and all contribute to a very successful team with an amazing spirit.
