Education at the Source

At The Source, we offer a unique combination of Pilates, Yoga, Transformation, and Education. Renee Watson Pilates at The Source has established it’s highly-regarded reputation by offering small, attentive group classes (mat and equipment) as well as tailor-made private sessions. Renee believes in moving ‘beyond’ the repertoire and understands that mindfulness plays an essential role in maximising the benefits of Pilates. Her focus is to allow each client a greater experience of themselves.

The Source offers both heated and unheated Yoga practice. In keeping with our ethos, every teacher brings a level of mindfulness, transformation, or meditation into the class. Discover how this physical practice of Yoga can provide a doorway into a deeper understanding and compassion for self. Also housed at The Source is Conscious Movement Education which has been established since 2001 and is renowned internationally for presenting quality, in-depth courses and workshops. CME offers teacher training in over 10 countries and is expanding. Our Pilates and Yoga courses are based on the understanding that we are more than the sum of our parts. We provide a strong foundation of anatomy understanding, history of the discipline, principles and fundamentals, and repertoire. We then take our teacher trainees to the next level and teach them how to teach! An emphasis on choreography, cueing, modifications, and teaching skills set CME apart from other courses. And finally, we guide students in recognising the level beyond the purely physical. To ‘plug in’ to the connection between movement and breath… movement and emotion… movement and self.
