They say a picture is worth a thousand words & we agree! Antoinette Reinecke is an award-winning photographer based in Johannesburg capturing moments in time through her passion for the Lens.
Officially being in the photography industry for the past 3 years, her love for the field started off by shooting everything in sight, from tree stumps & flowers, to portrait pictures of her daughter after ballet. It was these moments with her daughter that led her to develop her unique & unorthodox way of capturing child portraits that take us back to forgotten moments that serve as precious reminders.
Her inspiration is drawn from hoping to capture the child through a mother’s eye & create timestamps that will act as reminders to both parents & children as the years go by. Antoinette’s portraits also serve as child empowerment tools that have the ability to unlock the bundles of potential each child has.
