C J & A Accounting (Pty) Ltd is a small accounting practice run by its owner and director, Colleen Jaich. She is a BCOM Honours Unisa graduate with decades of corporate financial management experience. Having worked for 20 years as an Administration Manager for the local branch of a German company, Renk AG, Colleen moved to Cape Town in 1999 and joined Accolade, a rice and legume wholesaler, as Financial Manager. Accolade was bought out by Pioneer Foods in 2004 and she continued to work as a Financial Manager for Sasko, a division of Pioneer Foods until 2013, after which she established her own accounting business. As the business expended, Colleen recruited a team of three accountants over the years who contribute to various aspects of the bookkeeping and accounting processes required by their clients.
The services offered by C J & A Accounting include but are not limited to the following: Recording of transactions for sales, receipts, payments, debtors, creditors and payroll. Monthly bank reconciliations, debtors and creditors reconciliations, VAT and payroll reconciliations. Monthly VAT, PAYE, UIF, SDL, as well as annual Income tax, provisional tax returns and CIPC returns. Monthly management reports, annual financial statements compilation and reviews. Tax consulting, cash flow analysis and financial business advice when requested. Monthly debtors’ statements, receipt allocation, reconciliations and debt collection. On site part time bookkeeping services where necessary. Payment of suppliers and salaries. Monthly meetings to discuss financial statements. The accounting practice subscribes to the ISRS 4410 and IFRS standards in terms of quality assurance, documentation and reporting. Colleen Jaich is registered with the AIC as Accounting Officer and with SARS as a Tax practitioner.
