Corinna Tannian Photography

Hi, I’m Corinna Tannian.  I run a small studio based in Randburg, Gauteng.  The studio specialises in weddings, maternity, newborn and family photography as well as covering events and special occasions. 

I am a mother, wife and business woman with a passion for Turkish delight, great wine and good company.  And not forgetting a dash of humour for good measure.

Having lived in the UK, I settled into a career in advertising for a few years.  I began with a keen interest in photography of various advertising sites.  Having spent a number of years here, I then went on to work in Supply Chain Management at BAA Heathrow Airport where I was category specialist for Terminal 5 as well as managing the Marketing and Communications category spend for the group of airports.

Having left the UK in 2009, I began shooting professionally full time in 2010. Having gained some experience while living in the UK, I decided to start my own business running a studio from home where I could add family and newborn studio photography to my repertoire.

I am passionate about the memories I capture and document.  These are moments which we will never get back again.  Once in a lifetime memory that can be cherished forever.  I also strongly support printed material as memories are captured so easily digitally today that we don’t file them somewhere where we can look at those memories and share them with loved ones.  By printing your images, these become family treasures which can be shared time and again.

I strongly support networking in the industry and with other entrepreneurs as the continual learning experiences keep building which helps to streamline our businesses, particularly where a woman needs to achieve a good work and life balance.
