Doggy Style Mobile Grooming
I started mobile grooming in 2005, (from a Secretarial background) based on a love for dogs, and driven by a passion and the pleasure of training an award winning Agility dog. It seemed like the most logical path to follow.
I was on the road for many years, until 2 years ago I handed the job over to my trusted staff. I now work from home and monitor the admin, scheduling and client service, including new business. I do on occasions go out to clients if they have a problem dog.
The company has grown into the successful, ethical, well known business today with many long standing and regular clients.
I have one mobile truck that is fully customised with a bath, plug points and work tables, which provides a secure area for your dog/s to be washed and styled. It has all the most up-to-date equipment.
We work on appointment only (similar to a hairdresser) and during the summer rush I can have up to a two week lead time for an appointment. So it does suit clients who are regulars.
Think of the absolute convenience…. this mobile parlour COMES TO YOU.
We offer all kinds of breed cuts and my staff are particularly gentle with dogs and take extra care when the dogs are stressing.
For the client there are no more hassles dropping off Fifi at the parlour. Fifi won’t stress if she sits in a cage all dog. We agree that Fifi groomed in the comfort of his/her premises will make her so much more calmer. It also allows the client (or domestic) to monitor exactly what is going on.
There are a number of mobile parlours in the Johannesburg and surrounds, but I do believe there is work for everyone. I do understand dogs are like “babies” to my clients and we strive to treat them as such.
Unfortunately with only one vehicle I can only cover certain areas in a day and at present cover Fourways to Houghton, Buccleau to Weltevreden and anything in between. As a potential client I urge to you call to see if we do your area.
