Dr.Annelize Coetzee runs a private dental practice in Parys, Free State. Her dedicated team consists of an Oral Hygienist, Dental Assistant, Receptionist and Practice Manager.

She was selected Key Opinion Leader for Edelweiss Veneers and attended a program in Austria with 26 other dentists from across the world in June 2016, this entails new, less invasive techniques for the patient.

Clearpath Ortho has been introduced as a treatment for especially adult patients for the straightening of teeth.

Assessing individual’s cosmetic concerns as the face ages and correcting facial volume in a sympathetic way by using anti-wrinkle treatments and dermal fillers is an optional service provided.

The practice is the sole distributor of Pro-Active Collagen in Parys, liquid collagen to enhance the body’s strength and vitality from within, as well as Optiphi skin rejuvenation treatments, the latest addition to the stable of products on offer.

Scaling and polishing of teeth, oral hygiene instructions catered for the individual’s needs, tooth whitening, fluoride treatments, gum guards and bite plates are provided by Marlize Nel (Oral Hygienist).

Dr. reaches out to the community in many ways: a training session was held for personnel at Sally Martin, one of the old age homes, to increase awareness and the importance of oral hygiene and the maintenance thereof in the elderly.

Another local project, Diamonds of the Future, is supported to educate learners on oral healthcare as they step out into the professional world when leaving school.

Together with Colgate, educating Grade R to 2 learners at local schools has been a focus since 2012, handing out toothbrushes and toothpaste annually to pupils and providing tools for teachers to educate young learners on the importance of oral health.
