Ducks Coffee Shop, situated on the beautiful grounds of Ducks Country House, in the heart of Henley-on-Klip, is the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Renowned for its peaceful ambience and breath-taking gardens, people find a sense of tranquillity amongst the large, shady trees and luscious, crisp lawn… an atmosphere which, to anyone, would be truly irresistible. With our welcoming hospitality and wonderfully wholesome food, we invite you to enjoy our “little piece of heaven”. Let us show you how good food, tranquillity and excellent service is bought together to create an unforgettable experience. The Coffee Shop provides delicious breakfasts; including our signature ‘Ducks French Toast’ made with fresh camembert, bananas and maple syrup; light lunches, including wraps, gourmet burgers and salads as well as waffles, home-made apple and many more delectable delights.
The Coffee Shop is located on the banks of the Kliprivier and makes for a perfect getaway for a picnic lunch right next to the river. Picnic baskets may be ordered from the Coffee Shop and are packed full of delicious foods. The picnic area will be set up for you when you arrive, with a table and chairs as well as blankets and pillows.
In addition to the Coffee Shop, the Country House plays host to a Chapel and Dining Room for weddings and all forms of functions. There are three double guest rooms in the house and three double guest log-cabins nestled among the trees near the river. The Red Door Theatre is also located on the Country House grounds where you can enjoy a theatre evening (hosted by Ducks on a monthly basis) or where you may host conferences.
Ducks Coffee Shop is open Fridays to Sundays 09h00 to 16h00, as well as on public holidays. Friday night dinners are also offered by the Coffee Shop (however, bookings are essential for dinners).
