Elaine Fourie – Psychology Practice

I am an Industrial Psychologist and my work revolves around helping people in conflictual relationships, using the Imago Methodology of relationship healing.

I also often encounter people who have experienced sexual abuse who are particularly challenged in making relationships and particularly intimate contact work. I like to think that I can contribute to their healing. I think of myself as a healer.

I also read and write articles and books around my topic of interest, which includes spiritual transformation, and I share these with my client base. A large percentage of the work that I do is pro bono (voluntary) as I feel strongly about the many people who are in trouble, who cannot afford to pay a psychologist in private practice. I do voluntary work for a church based institution that provides low cost counselling to those who cannot afford private fees. I also run workshops and speak at events when I am invited to do so.
