: Findlater Attorneys Inc. is a dynamic boutique, all female, law firm situated in Howick, KwaZulu-Natal. The firm was established by Amy Findlater on 17th June 2014 as a sole proprietorship and consisted of only one staff member. The firm has since become incorporated with effect from 1 July 2022 and the staff compliment has grown to 5 members which comprises of two legal practitioners, two candidate legal practitioners and a personal assistant.
We are a general practice that specialises in Family Law matters. In general practice, we attend to civil litigation, criminal litigation, Labour Law matters and deceased estates.
We offer mediation services in Family Law and Civil disputes. Amy is an accredited mediator and is a member of the KwaZulu-Natal Society of Mediators. She has also qualified for Court Annexed Mediation through the University of Pretoria.
Amy’s keen interest in Family Law has led to her continued professional development in this area of law where she has recently completed her training as a Parenting Coordinator.
We deal with Insolvent Estates as Amy is an Insolvency Practitioner appointed by the Master of the High Court on their Panel for Insolvent estates.
In the field of Labour law, we have experience in dealing with retrenchments, strikes, lockouts, chairperson services as well in representation in conciliation and arbitrations processes. We also attend to assist our clients with labour laws compliance.
