Tucked away in the Crescent Shopping Centre (behind Gateway), this florist is owned and run by Umhlanga business women, Lindy Pohl. Lindy has been in the Corporate Flower Rental business for a few years now and supplies a National Retail Chain with Artificial flowers and Indoor plants. During this period she met up with Pat who enticed her into buying the Florist, a life long dream of Lindy, and together they have transformed Flowers @ the Crescent into a modern day florist that not only deals in Fresh flowers but artificial flowers too. Lindys motto is that the “Customer is everything” and with her passion, creativeness and on hands dedication together with her creative team headed up by Pat who has been a florist for over 35 years and assisted by Happy are able to produce flower arrangements that can be tailor-made to each and every client’s specifications. Their specialities being able to customise floral décor for birthdays, weddings, funerals, homes, functions and the attention to detail has been an important factor in the success of this florist and the free delivery available to clients in the Umhlanga area has been greatly appreciated, none of this would be possible without the help of their very reliable driver Vusi who is a very important part of the team. Assisted by Anita and Margo who help out at the front desk and they ensure that all the customers are well attended to and their needs are met.
Since taking over the florist on the 1st November 2015 Lindy has expanded the product to not only include fresh flowers but artificial flowers too and artificial indoor plants. In the fast paced lifestyle of today, getting fresh flowers each week is a true luxury.
