FROM A DREAM TO REALITY…..

I am a creative person interested in sewing, cake decorating and gardening but interior decorating has always been my passion.

After my kids’ finished school I needed to find my feet and fulfil this passion, so I decided to study interior decorating to use it in my own home.
One thing lead to another and through a business network meeting, Margaret Hirsch offered me an opportunity to help launch my business. After a few meetings and a lot of advice I started working at the Hirsch’s – Fourways store on weekends and that was where I got the opportunity to promote my company. What an opportunity that was!

OOH LA LA – “IN STYLE INTERIOR DECORATING” became a reality……
Since then I have been blessed with many different projects to work on and I have learnt so much from each one of them.
Meeting new clients, understanding their brief and then sourcing the furniture, fabrics and accessories has become a way of life to me which I find extremely rewarding. Every job and client are so different and that’s what makes it exciting.

One of the challenges I love is to incorporate some of the client’s existing furniture but to complement it with new items and accessories to create a fresh, modernised look.
