Intaba View is located in the tranquil and majestic Valley of 1000 Hills and was opened in May 2012. Overlooking the Phezulu Nature Reserve, we have a panoramic view of this magnificent valley.
Open Monday to Sunday for Breakfast and Lunch, al fresco dining is available on our patio and grassed areas and during the winter months, a cosy fireplace warms the interior of our restaurant. Evening dinners and functions are by arrangement only. Intaba View caters for every taste with an extensive menu ranging from Eisbein to steaks to lighter meals such as open sandwiches and salads. We serve a lunch buffet every Sunday where reservations are definitely recommended. Perfect for family celebrations as well as intimate dining, Intaba View is the ideal place to unwind while overlooking our spectacular views from our wrap around patio. During the winter months, a gas fireplace heats the interior of our restaurant and in the Summer months, our deck is perfect for those balmy afternoons. We also cater for children with a kiddies menu as well as children’s playground.
We also cater for weddings and conferences where full function co-ordination is provided for your special day.
Our conference venue, namely Craig Hall, overlooks the majestic Valley of 1000 Hills. Steeped in history, this converted warehouse, has high ceilings and is a blank canvas for any function, event or conference. We seat up to 50 in a horseshoe/U-shape format, 80 in a cinema style format and up to 60 delegates in a classroom style format. Privately located with its own large patio and garden, it is a quiet and tranquil venue at which to hold your next conference. With large gardens and Phezulu Nature Reserve at our doorstep, we are also perfectly located for team building events. We also have a smaller meeting room which is privately located alongside our restaurant which is perfect for smaller groups.
With regards to weddings, no wedding is too big or too small, from intimate and romantic weddings for just the bridal party to larger celebrations and bigger budgets. You can be assured of our total dedication at all times as the quality of our service is of paramount importance. Our venue seats up to 180 people and our quaint chapel, which is located adjacent to Intaba View, is perfect for your wedding ceremony. No detail is overlooked and every effort is made to make your special day tailor-made and unforgettable.
