I started JG Accounting in July 2015, after I had practiced in the accounting trade for five years. I am a Professional Accountant registered with the South African Institute of Professional Accountants (SAIPA), a Business Accountant in Practice registered with the Southern African Institute for Business Accountants (SAIBA), as well as a registered tax practitioner. I am passionate about accounting and client service excellence.
What is accounting? Accounting can be described as a way to communicate the financial health of a business or an organization to any and all interested parties. It is a way of assessing the assets, liabilities and cash flow, or the future of an entity for all current and future investors. It is the lifeblood of a business and all types of business have basic information that is recorded to get that job done.
Many smaller companies and individuals are sometimes so caught up in the daily priorities of running a business that falling behind in accounting can be a common problem – there just doesn’t seem to be enough time for all the nitty gritty stuff as well.
