Kind2Hearing Tzaneen is part of a national audiology group practice which focuses on hearing tests, hearing devices, free hearing screenings and noise protection.  Our mission is to be the no 1 hearing care provider of choice in South Africa.  We aim to do this by giving the gift of hearing through quality service and product, compassionate care and kindness in the way we deal with our patients.

I started off as a young community service audiologist and speech-language therapist at a government hospital in the rural area of Lenyenye outside Tzaneen.  I mostly enjoyed working in government because of the sincere and honest appreciation of a magogo from Modjadji hearing again after so many years or a young child from Modjadjiskloof with no household income, hearing for the first time with their brand new hearing aids.  Resources are scarce in rural hospitals so many people had to be turned away.  Although I enjoyed my time at the government hospital I felt that my skills as an audiologist I started to deteriorate in my skills.

Opening an audiology practice in a small country town in Limpopo was not necessarily an ingenious escape plan from the hospital.  Furthermore, audiology equipment is very expensive and I couldn’t get a lone.  Pieter Coetzee, CEO of Impact Hearing, and I started discussing the possibility of me opening a practice for the network to cover the north-eastern parts of Limpopo.  I had to make a choice:  stay in my comfortable, no-stress environment of the hospital and risk stagnating in my profession for which I worked so hard to achieve or leave all security and venture into the unknown in setting up a new practice?  Ultimately it was my faith that gave me courage to risk it all and I have been blessed over and above my biggest dreams since.

The practice has since grown with 4 dedicated women by my side, each fulfilling a meaningful role in the practice.  We work hard, drive many kilometers and give 100% to each other and each person that walks into our offices. We advocate HEARING as a sense that conveys emotions, fulfillment and quality to life.
