At M Botha and M Roux Inc the emphasis is on helping children with various needs improve their cognitive, physical, sensory, and motor skills and enhance their self-esteem and sense of accomplishment.
M Botha and M Roux Inc. operates at Therapeace, which is a multidisciplinary practice in Linden, Johannesburg. We follow the Developmental Pathways Model, created by Maude le Roux, which focuses on 3 phases of development. This allows our assessments to be precise and our treatment to be wholistic as we work from foundational skills all the way up to executive functioning. It is important to us to keep relevant and up to date with our therapy and we are dedicated to going on training, participating in webinars and receive regular mentoring.

Marilize Botha studied Occupational Therapy (OT) at the University of Pretoria and graduated in 2002, after completing community service, she started her formal career working at a special needs school in the mornings and at a private practice in the afternoon. She then started her own OT practice in 2009. Millicent Viljoen (Roux) completed her OT degree at the University of Pretoria in 2010 and after completing her community service year, joined the practice in 2012. Together with Marilize they went from strength to strength until in 2016 they formed M Botha and M Roux Incorporated.

Caitlyn Dell completed her OT degree at the University of Cape Town in 2014 and joined Marilize and Millicent in 2016. We are a team of three dedicated and enthusiastic occupational therapists who love working with children and their parents. Over the years we have gained qualifications in Ayres Sensory Integration, Tomatis Listening Therapy, DIR Floortime, Therapeutic Listening, Interactive Metronome, ReadON and experience in treating clients with minor difficulties to sever diagnosis including Autism, Sensory Processing Disorder, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, just to name a few. We love watching our clients gain confidence, new skills and grow. And this is why we all do what we do!
