Female Entrepreneur SA

the place to be for female entrepreneurs in South Africa

Metagen

MetaGen’s business concept is to optimise the performance and impact of companies by identifying and unleashing the potential of individuals and teams within these companies.

I gained 22 years’ experience in the corporate industry, ending with my last position as Director and Campus Support Manager for CTI (Computer Training Institute (Pty) Ltd). As part of the executive team of CTI, my role was a combination of operational work and corporate responsibilities such as HR, administration, finance, strategic issues, policies, product development strategies, international accreditation and marketing policy.

During 2003, I decided to coach full-time as I have a passion for the development of people. I qualified as an Associate Certified Meta-Coach with the ISNS. I am a member of the MCF (Meta Coach Foundation), ISNS (International Society of Neuro-Semantics), COMENSA (Coaches and Mentors of South Africa) and ICF(International Coaching Federation).

I have done business and executive coaching for the past 12 years during which I coached Directors, Senior Executives, Senior and Middle Managers of various national and international organisations in South Africa across all sectors and industries. My 22 years’ experience in the corporate world assists me in understanding the challenges that leaders have to deal with and helps me create awareness and desires for required change to happen. Although my experience has led me to be compassionate and understanding, my ultimate responsibility is to challenge my clients and hold them accountable for their actions and reaching their potential.

When do companies typically introduce coaching programmes?

1) Broadening the group of top performers in the company

2) Getting key people who have been appointed in new roles up to speed as quickly and efficiently as possible

3) Assisting employees within companies to cope with any changes that take place within the company i.e. restructuring, retrenchments etc.

4) Addressing low performance issues in either personal or business lives

5) Correctional coaching as an alternative to disciplinary procedures and actions

6) Improved implementation of new skills learnt during formal training sessions.
