New Millennium Debt Councillors was established in October 2014 when Daluxolo (Dali) Mantlana and Charles Schreuder, who have been running a successful specialist debt collection law firm, realised that in many instances consumers were turned into debtors through circumstances beyond their direct control. It was however only after meeting Zinelle Carstens, herself a well-established debt councillor, that the idea was born to start New Millennium Debt Councillors.

From the onset, the directors had the vision of creating a company that assist debtors to have a better understanding of, and the impact of debt on their day to day lives and expenses. Ultimately educating them to become wiser credit consumers in the future.
