During Trauma/Tension Release Exercise therapy clients are guided through a set of exercises that stress and stretch the big muscle groups thereby enabling the release of long term stress and tension. Gentle intervention is applied to assist the body to obtain maximum stress release.
Long term stress, tension and trauma all have the same effect on the body such as muscle contractions, insomnia, heightened irritability, headaches, short term memory problems. Most people experience some form of stress or trauma at some time in their lives, be it in school, their place of work or at home. TRE® provides an effective way to release stress, resulting in improved sleep, and an enhanced sense of wellbeing among other benefits.
