Our Story
As mothers of young children in school, balancing full day’s work, kids, dinner, and the piling dishes can be very tiring and overwhelming. An appreciation for this and a passion to help others is what inspired us to start Simplify Life Assistant.
We met through our kids and soon became a pillar of support and strength for each other. Both of us studied somatology and worked in the beauty industry affording us the opportunity and privilege to help people. After leaving the beauty industry I went into office administration and Yolandi went into education, both of which are of great assets to assist our client’s needs.
Life throws us curve balls and in Yolandi’s case it was a sick little baby that forced her to quit her job … there is a lot of self-discovery that happens along this path, one shared with a lot of tears and laughter alongside her, at the end it all boils down to…
enjoy the BIG things, the LITTLE things, and EVERYTHING in between… and realize what is important to you?
We have a deep desire to assist the working family, through the mother, father, or both at home or in their business. In some cases the children could benefit as a result of the most overworked parent who is given support with all their mundane tasks that send them over the edge.
We’d like to think of ourselves as the sidekick to the ‘superhero’s’ that runs the family, a person who helps to make sure that their needs are fulfilled and their ‘to do’ lists are taken care.
Do you really need to do all those to-do-lists yourself or could you delegate to someone else freeing up your time to enjoy what is important to you?
Our aim is to simplify your life, freeing up your time to live your life to the fullest, we assist in any way possible at home or at the office.
This is us, we are real and we understand, life is overwhelming and everyone deserves a little help
