Sweet Cakes and Cupcakes

Sweet Cakes & Cupcakes consists of a Mother & Daughter business.

Where did it all start..... in 2012 where I attended a Sugar Craft class with the idea and mission in my head to learn how to make a rose out of fondant, so I can be the cool mom one day, that bakes her childern's own cakes.... Little did I know, once I got started, I was hooked!!!

I baked until 2014 by myself with only 3 to the utmost 5 clients per month. My mother joined... as I was diagnosed with MS and had some challenges...
Our 'little business' grew with time and since 2015 we have a client base of 10-15 cakes and lots of cupcakes per week.

I'm quite the creative person and I have a passion for doing something to spark my creativity and starting something from scratch and calling it my own. I believe in my product because I know what hard work lies in creating a masterpiece and something original! I can present my cakes and cupcakes with pride because I can say it's made with my own two hands!!

Mom and Daughters have their own challenges, especially when it comes to the....Kitchen!! And my mom and I are no different.... none the less we are totally blessed with awesome clients, even if it means late nights and no sleep.... it is all worth it!!

Sugar Craft is 'Me-Time'... time where I can be silent, alone with my own thoughts and imagination. Where I can forget about everything and create....

We specialise in custom made cakes for any occasion and theme. Our fillings are unique and we always try new recipes to only provide the best quality to our clients!!
