Tanya Hanekom Audiologists at Sandton Hearing & Balance was established at Mediclinic Sandton in October 2008, with a full range of diagnostic test equipment. Our audiologists believe in establishing warm and lasting relationships with our patients and prefer spending plenty of time on each consultation, which allows for a thorough diagnostic hearing testing.

Services offered at the practice include diagnostic audiological testing for adults and children, hearing instrument solutions, tinnitus counselling, auditory processing, and the management of lifestyle hearing protection devices. One of our key focus areas is paediatric hearing testing, we diagnose and manage hearing loss from newborn.

Our vestibular clinic focuses on balance and dizzy pathologies, determining the presentation and management of dizziness and balance disturbances.

The audiologists at the practice are proud members of the South African Association of Audiologists and we hold ourselves to high ethical standards. Each hold a professional degree in the field, with masters qualifications encouraged among our audiologists.
