The focus of Updo Interior Design is on taking much loved items and re-purposing or giving them a new look to suit a design concept which combines style, comfort and functionality. 

How I work is to meet with you in the space you would like to re-style or an entirely new space you envisage and get a feeling for the space, the mood you would like to create and the décor items which you would like to incorporate into that space.  I will also get feedback from you as to what does and does not work about the space, if you would like to reassign its purpose or create a different feel.

I will present you with a storyboard or storyboards showing different options, moods and colour palettes for your consideration and our discussion. 

Once you fee happy with a choice, I will assist you in putting the scope of work out to the various disciplines and vetting prospective contractors.  I will also accompany you in shopping for fabrics and décor items which will compliment the scheme you have chosen. 

I will project manage the process of creating your new space from inception to successful completion.

We also specialise in preparing your home for sale or styling any new residential developments.

My initial consultation is free of charge.  Should I be successful in being awarded the contract, I charge either an hourly fee of R350 or a percentage of the contract value, whichever is the lesser.
