Cape Town’s favourite ice cream sandwich store has opened their first Johannesburg branch in the heart of vibrant Illovo.

The Crumbs Story

Sisters, Shahar and Or Peled, always dreamed of turning their love of all things sweet into a business, and after months of cookie batter experiments, baking round the clock (& lots of tasting, of course) Crumbs & Cream was born!

Crumbs & Cream started small- the size of a tuk tuk to be exact! The Crumbs Truck as it has come to be known, found its spot at the popular V&A Waterfront. Soon, demand exceeded that of the small truck & the flagship Crumbs & Cream store opened up in Sea Point, Cape Town.

After celebrating one deliciously successful year in Cape Town the sisters decided it was time to spread the yumminess to Joburg!

 A deliciously unique experience

At Crumbs & Cream the menu is what you make of it. This fun & exciting concept allows you get creative and craft the ice cream sandwich of your sweetest dreams. Start by selecting any two cookies from a freshly baked variety (Oreo, Choc-Chip & Brownies- to name a few) Then select a scoop of gelato (think, Nutella, Snickers or the infamous Oreo Monster) Then finish it off with your choice of toppings & spreads (Mini-Mallows & Gummy Worms- YES PLEASE!)

The friendly Crumbs Crew are always happy to provide guidance & offer recommendations of their delectable specials, in-house creations and limited edition products.

In addition to their iconic Ice Cream sandwich, you can also indulge in delicious ice cream cones, coffees, crumbs Shakes & limited edition creations. Watching your weight? Try their sugar-free ice cream at only 60 calories a scoop! Vegan? Indulge in a Vegan Heaven cookie with your choice of sorbet! Banting? They have a Banting-friendly solution for your sweet tooth!
