On Saturday the 21st September 2019, The Beauty Studio – Petervale held a launch event for their re branded luxurious studio co-owned by business and life partners Kathleen and hubby Takalani Mavhunga. The event saw an overwhelming attendance by a diverse gathering of guests from different spheres of Joburg north.
The Beauty Studio offers a wide range of beauty treatments and retail beauty products and caters for all genders. The portfolio of services includes Nails, Facials, Waxing’s, massages, Tanning and Make – up. The Beauty Studio has invested in high skilled, qualified and extremely talented as well as an experienced team of professional nail technicians and beauty therapists who provide uniqueness of clients’ beauty.
The day to day of the salon is managed by a dedicated Salon Manager who reports into Kathleen. Kathleen Mavhunga describes herself as a wife and mother before business accolades. Kathleen has been a reliable and consistent client of the health and beauty industry for a number of years and ultimately decided to switch position to become an entrepreneur of the industry instead. Kathleen’s key role in The Beauty Studio is to instill a unique identity for the business, clarify brand positioning to ensure the brand embodies professionalism and customer-centricity whilst promoting an inspiring and innovative healthy work environment.

Kathleen is also a Co-Founder of Mighty Girls, an NGO that focuses on supply of sanitary towels and mentorship to previous disadvantaged young girls across South Africa.
